While we are home, I wanted to share with you some great things for you to do to keep up with your math (practice your facts!! Play math games!)
(Scroll down and click on flash cards)
( click to math zone)
(Click on “games” or “auto-scored quizzes”)
SO, WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO WHILE YOU ARE HOME???
*Start a journal. Some day all of this will be a distant memory and 20 years from now you can reread it and say, oh, I forgot that I did that!
*Write notes or letters to your grandparents or other relatives who you miss. They miss you, too! You can really brighten their day by sending them mail!
*Play games like Yahtzee, Rummikub, Phase 10, Monopoly, or Rack-O, Stratego, Checkers, or Chess. These can help you with not only math and strategizing, but you can have fun playing them!
*Go to storytimefromspace.com
*get some physical exercise
*draw your dream bedroom, along with its length and width. Find the area of your dream room! (or draw a house of rooms and find the area of the entire house)
*Use sidewalk chalk to write uplifting messages on your neighbors driveways (with your parents’ permission)
******email Mrs. Skrjanc with your math questions. You may need to wait a day to get an answer, but I check my mail every day. Skrjanc.firstname.lastname@example.org
REMEMBER TO MAKE GREAT MEMORIES DURING THIS TIME AT HOME!!
YOU ARE MISSED AND I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE ALL OF YOU AGAIN AND HEAR HOW YOU SPENT YOUR TIME!
