CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR PLAN

MOST IMPORTANT RULES:

Be safe, responsible, and respectful!

We will be using the rainbow clip chart for our behavior plan this year.  Most students are familiar with a similar plan from first grade.  Each child will have their own clothespin clipped to the color green at the start of each day.  Students are given equal opportunities to move up or down the chart depending on their behaviors.  When students are doing their best and showing great behaviors and meeting expectations, they will be directed to move their clip up to blue, purple, then pink.  If not following expectations, they’ll be asked to move down to yellow, orange, then red.

At the end of each day, students color in their behavior chart located in their green folder to indicate the color they are on.  Students that end on orange or red will lose a privilege such as recess, special or other fun activity that week.  At the end of the week, any student who has earned green or above all week will get a special treat.  As a bonus, any student who reaches the top will immediately earn a special treat.  If a student goes to the top all week, they will be awarded a free ice cream treat.  Please review and initial your child’s behavior chart daily.  Also keep it in clasps of the green folder for the entire week.
