Rehearsal Schedule


Symphonic Band after-school rehearsals.

  • The Northwest Symphonic Band rehearses every Wednesday from 2:30-3:00 PM.

 

Marching Band after-school rehearsals.

  • The Northwest Marching Band rehearses every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 PM.

Northwest Marching Band at the Cuyahoga Falls

The Northwest High School Marching Band is a part of a strong tradition of bands at Northwest High School, striving to perpetuate the legacy of quality bands created by the pioneering spirit of Emil Puffenberger (1909-1990), long time Northwest High School (Canal Fulton High School) band director from 1935-1972.

The band is led by Mr.Stephen Imler, a recent graduate of Kent State University. Mr. Imler is joined in the task by assistant band director, Kimberly Good, majorette advisor Jewelette Heddy-McLaughlin, and field commander John Derry.

The band performs yearly in the Clinton and Canal Fulton Memorial Day Parades and the Canal Fulton Canal Days Parade. This year the band has added the Hall of Fame Grand Parade to it’s performances. The band also performs at all High School football games and several band shows per year.  The band is excited to be traveling to Disney to perform in the 2022-23 school year and is looking to the future for additional performance opportunities.
