 Kindergarten Registration Information

To be eligible for Kindergarten in the fall of 2020, your child must be five on or before August 1, 2020.

The Online Registration link will be available January 7, 2020 through April 15, 2020.

Parent Informational Letter Final Forms Directions
  • A computer station will be available at the Central Office for those families/individuals who do not have internet access in their homes. The Canal Fulton Public Library also has computer access available for community use.  
  • In addition to the online registration form,  parents must provide the following documents to complete the registration process:
    • Birth certificate
    • Proof of residency (2 forms required - utility bill and rental agreement or mortgage statement)
    • Child's social security number
    • Parent's Photo ID
    • Immunization record
    • Custody papers (if applicable)
  • Update: Due to the COVID-19 Closure we are asking that you complete all of the online registration documents by April 15th. We are asking that you refrain from bring the required documents to Central Office during the current closure. We will provide additional information when we will resume collection of those required documents. Thank you for your understanding.

August 1st cutoff?  Why the change and now what do I do?

On Saturday, March 7th, the Primary is hosting a ‘Preschool Fair’ for parents to meet the staff of area preschools and to receive information for the 2020-21 school year.

It will be held 10:00-12:00 in our gym. Dr. LaRiccia will answer questions about the change in the kindergarten entry date.

Kindergarten Investigation Days

We are postponing Investigation Days during COVID-19 school closure. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.

In order to participate in the kindergarten screening day the following must be completed by Friday, April 3, 2020:

  • the online registration process completed
  • the required forms returned to the Central Office 

Jessica Brown, the district registrar, will schedule appointments for the kindergarten screening day when the required documents have been turned in at the Central Office.
