Dear Northwest Families,
After careful consideration, our district will be returning to in-person learning for all K-12 students in the fall for the 2021-22 school year. The district is not planning to offer an online learning option. In addition, the district will follow any health orders that are in place at the start of the school year.
Northwest’s digital academy will continue to be available to any sixth to twelfth grade student who needs credit recovery opportunities. Middle school and high school students in need of information regarding credit recovery should contact their school guidance counselor.
We realize the current school year has presented many challenges for families, students and our staff members as we navigated the requirements of a world-wide pandemic. We appreciate the support and flexibility of our families and staff members as we focused on ensuring our students had a positive school experience.
As the end of the school year approaches, the anticipation of summer is visible throughout the district. A child’s learning experiences are endless and the opportunity to explore, experience and enjoy summer activities are an important part of the learning process. We hope you enjoy the summer break and we look forward to seeing our students and their families when school resumes in the fall.
