Pack the Puff

in support of the

Northwest Middle School Bands!


It has been my experience as a parent, that when my children did fundraisers, our friends, family, and neighbors preferred to donate money rather than purchase an item at an inflated cost, where the students' organization only reaped a portion of the proceeds. So, for our annual spring band concert, we are seeking individuals and businesses to sponsor seats or rows of seats in the Puffenberger Hall for the Performing Arts. The concert for grades 5-8 will be held on  March 10, 2020 in the Puffenberger Hall at 7 p.m. As always the concert is free, but we are asking individuals to sponsor seats at $5 per seat in the Puffenberger Hall (individual seat sponsors will be recognized in the evening's program), or sponsor a row for $60 in return for a family ad (a shout out to your student, in memory of, the _____family) in the evenings program. Businesses may sponsor a row for $60 and will be given a page in the NMS band coupon book that will be passed out to all families at the March 10, 2020 concert and also at the Northwest Instrumental Departments Bands in the Round Concert on May 3, 2020. This support will help the middle school band program to:

  • Purchase new music
  • Keep current school owned instruments in good repair
  • Buy additional and/or replace tubas, euphoniums, french horns, oboes, bassoons, tenor and baritone saxes, and percussion equipment
  • Purchase beginning band instruments for our school rental program which allows families to rent instruments at a very low cost and provides students on free and reduced lunch rental instruments at no charge

The goal is to get sponsors for all 700 seats in the Puffenberger Hall!!!!!!!
