          Hello!

          I'm Miss Lane, and I teach seventh grade E.L.A. class here at Northwest Middle School. I am a graduate of Northwest, and my daughter is, as well. I earned my B.A. in education at Fairmont State College in West Virginia and my masters degree in middle school education at Akron University. I love working with middle school students, and reading and writing have always been two of my passions. I feel very blessed to have been able to establish my career at "home!" I truly believe that our Northwest Local School District is a special place like no other and a GREAT place for students to learn and grow to their fullest potential. 

          This year students will be doing the majority of their work on Google Classroom. Visit the Classroom (Classwork) to see posted plans each week. These plans are subject to change, but will be a helpful overview of the lessons being covered in class. Students can find these plans posted in CLASSWORK, as well, along with any documents needed to complete their assignments. I also post a numbered list of what we covered in class in Google Stream each day.
