Cain Recognizes Northwest as "Excellent" Deborah Cain, President of the Ohio State Board of Education, praised the efforts of the Northwest Local School District in achieving an "Excellent" rating for the 2008-09 school year. She presented a banner at the Northwest Board of Education meeting in October. She also noted that Northwest received "Value-Added" recognition and AYP achievement as well.
