Diana Pryor Named to Stark County Teaching Team Diana Pryor of Stinson Elementary has been named to the 2009 Stark County Teaching Team sponsored by Mix 94.1 and News-Talk 1480 WHBC radio, along with the University of Akron. The teaching team consists of one teacher from each local school district in Stark County, one nominee from the eastern and western Stark County parochial schools, one from Stark County private schools, and one from the Stark County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. In addition to the Stark County Teaching Team, a rookie team also has been named. It is composed of educators with three years or less teaching experience. Jessica Cogar, a guidance counselor at Northwest Middle School, has been chosen for the team. From these two teams, a Teacher of the Year and a Rookie of the Year were recognized at the Education Celebration Banquet on Oct. 29 at the R. G. Drage Career Technical Center.
